Dr B. A. Parikh, ex-Vice Chancellor of South Gujarat University, Surat, retired professor of Psychology and writer of many books on Psychology is also the founding and current president of Surat based rationalist movement, Satya Shodhak Sabha. In this discussion with him, Aradhana discusses the movement and his views on atheism.
 

Triveni Acharya, President of Rescue Foundation, Mumbai, and former journalist, is an illustrious social worker actively involved in rescuing victims of human trafficing and forced prostitution. She has won numerous national and international awards for her missionary zeal. Aradhana spoke to her about Rescue Foundation, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

 

Mittal Patel of Ahmedabad is an activist tirelessly working for the economic upliftment and social integration of the nomadic tribes living in rural and remote villages of Gujarat. Her work has won her laurels and an immense satisfaction. Aradhana talks to her about the condition of the various nomadic tribes and her work.

 

Suchi Vyas of Phildelphia, USA is a psychotherapist who works as a drug counsellor in a rehabilitation centre. The Allahabad High Court verdict about Babri Mosque ownership is one of the longest running court cases in the history of Indian judiciary. The verdict was postponed several times and finally given on 30th Sept 2010 amidst grave fears for national security. Although the verdict is not expected to settle the dispute, it has diffused the debate for the present. Aradhana spoke to veteran freelance journalist Sukumar Trivedi the day after the verdict for an analytical report.
